Upcoming trainings – through fall quarter

Please check out the upcoming drop in technology trainings as well as some classes that are being offered by Aubrey Adrianson and Bob Payne.

Drop in technology training

Have questions about Blackboard, Google, or technology in your classroom?  Drop in and talk to Aubrey about any of your questions.  After you have your answer, you can leave or stick around and hear what questions other faculty members may have.

All drop in sessions are in E206

  • Wednesday, Nov 19, 4-6pm
  • Monday, Dec 1, 1-3pm
  • Tuesday, Dec 9, 11-1pm

Classes, sign up required

Below is a list of classes and when they are offered.  Please use the Google Form that was emailed to you to sign up.  If classes get full, we may need to secure a larger room, extra room, etc.  All of these classes are being offered in E201.

Google forms training

Learn some of the basics of Google Forms as well as some intermediate functions with Bob Payne.

Train the trainer

Do you plan on presenting during some in-services or during a quarterly kickoff and want to learn some more advanced features of Blackboard and the Ewing?  Then please join Bob Payne as he covers these and other topics that are relevant to trainers.

Blackboard basics

Did you miss Blackboard basics at the Fall Kickoff?  Or perhaps you just  need to brush up before the winter quarter.  Join Aubrey as she introduces Bb to you and, if time allows, some intermediate features.

  • Wednesday, Dec 17, 6-7pm

Business wing room basics

This class is great for anyone who is new to teaching in the business wing.  Learn about the Smartboard and what technology is available in the Ewing classrooms.  This class is offered by Aubrey.

  • Wednesday, Dec 17, 7-8pm
